Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of sheet metal experience.
• Understand HVAC installation and duct layout.
• Able to read duct work and architectural drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a good working attitude.
• Welding and fabrication of supports for equipment.
• Knowledge of rigging signals and operating cranes, boom trucks, lull, and forklifts.
• Understanding of air flow: supply, return, exhaust.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install ductwork for HVAC systems.
• Read duct and architectural drawings to locate rooms and elevations.
• Coordinate with other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Ensure safety and perform quality control per manufacturers' instructions.
• Operate equipment for lifting and setting HVAC equipment.
