Job summary

Randstad USA in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a hands-on Machine Builder to assemble custom-engineered industrial mixers and processing equipment. You will build complex mechanical assemblies from blueprinted components, fit precision-machined parts, and install hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

This role suits an experienced mechanical assembler, millwright, or machinist who takes pride in building heavy machinery from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and BOMs.
• Fit shafts, bearings, seals, gears, and close-tolerance parts.
• Route and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Rig and position heavy weldments using overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial mixers and related components per drawings.
• Align machined parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Install pneumatic and hydraulic lines per schematics.
• Rig and position heavy weldments using cranes.
• Test and troubleshoot machinery before shipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and shop staff to resolve issues.
