Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in manufacturing and machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints and routing information so as to meet customer expectations.
• Ability to manage time and workflow to optimize efficiency for the department.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate productive handling per customer requirements.
• Strong personal organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heat-treating equipment including pre-heat and high-heat furnaces, induction heat, stress, cooling, and demagnetizing equipment.
• Determine sequences of varied operations to obtain optimum results from scheduled parts.
• Load furnaces and bring up to prescribed temperatures; unload parts and place in stressing equipment.
• Set up rectifiers, jigs, temperatures, cycles, stress and cooling periods as prescribed.
• Maintain production records and assist in equipment maintenance and repair.
