Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Hatchery Embrex Team Member to operate Embrex vaccination equipment, monitor dosing, and uphold biosecurity standards in a fast-paced poultry environment.

You will maintain records, assist with egg set and chick processing, and support continuous improvement through teamwork. The role requires a High School Diploma, 1+ year production experience, and strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience (poultry/food industry a plus).
• Effective communication, ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hatchery quality control, animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety programs.
• Ensure correct egg placement in hatchers, monitor equipment operation, and perform setup and cleanup.
• Maintain detailed records for egg placement, vaccine tracking, and transfer processes.
• Fill in for absent team members and assist with safety monitoring.
• Participate in egg set, chick processing, cross-training, and training guide development.
• Perform daily setup, dismantling, and sanitization of equipment.
