ANDRITZ AG in Muncy, PA is seeking a Precision Grinding Technician for the 1st/3rd shift to join a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The role involves receiving, grinding, balancing, packaging, and inspecting refiner plates, with emphasis on quality and safety, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable operating industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use measuring devices and read instrument panels.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive plates and organize inventory.
• Inspect castings and prepare parts for production.
• Operate grinding equipment to meet required measurements.
• Measure and balance products and record results.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Support improvements in safety, quality, cost, and lead time.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintain work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production goals.
