Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design production tools and machines, improving processes while maintaining quality in bearing production. You will develop tooling, set up equipment, and support new programs with efficient production controls.

This role emphasizes precision grinding and high-volume tooling, with opportunities to teach others on correct operation. Qualified candidates hold a BS degree in engineering with at least 3 years in manufacturing; bearing manufacturing

Qualifications

BSME or BS with a concentration in industrial technology or engineering and a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Background in bearing manufacturing or precision grinding is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develops and improves processes, methods, tooling and production controls.
Stays informed concerning new manufacturing technology and equipment and investigates their potential applications.
Recommends incorporation of new technology for company applications where feasible and practical.
Sets up new equipment, ensures its satisfactory operation and instructs others to use the new equipment properly.
Designs, tools and/or machines of varying types for use in the manufacture of company products.
