Job summary

Knight Enterprises Management LLC is seeking a Grind Technician to work closely with the Grind Specialist and Engineering Team to ensure products meet the highest quality standards. You will inspect, set up, and operate grinding equipment, maintain tools, and participate in routine maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly.

Responsibilities include working to blueprint specifications, generating or adjusting CNC programs as needed, and maintaining tight tolerances while keeping a clean,

Qualifications

• Grinding experience required; experience as a grinder or similar role.
• Ability to stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn new processes, machines and technology.

Responsibilities

• Work with Grind Specialist and Engineering Team to machine workpieces to specifications.
• Set up and operate grinding processes per blueprint specs.
• Possibly generate or modify CNC programs.
• Use gauges and indicators to hold tight tolerances (+/- .0001).
• Inspect workpieces and remove defects; measure parts with metrology tools.
• Dress grinding wheels and maintain machines for peak performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate improvements.
