Timken Company is seeking a skilled Machinist to efficiently operate grinding and hard-machining equipment, ensuring parts meet drawing specifications and routings. The role emphasizes setup, calibration, and precise feeds/speeds across multiple assets.

Qualified candidates will interpret prints, perform lubrication and preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area while contributing to on-time production goals.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Willing to work any shift.
• Ability to use shop mathematics.
• Ability to interpret a variety of prints.
• Ability to plan and perform unusual & difficult work.
• Ability to make decisions that involve considerable judgment.
• Willing to work on any Grinder or Machining asset.

Responsabilidades

• Procure and use gauges, and maintain quality per drawings.
• Produce parts to a level acceptable per routings.
• Lubricate and maintain machines; wheel dressing and setup to maintain tolerance and finish.
• Load/unload machines; use setup material; synchronize manual and automatic operations.
• Interpret drawings; install grinding wheels or inserts; set feeds and speeds.
• Operate all grinding and turning machines; be multi-skilled.
• Maintain inventory of tooling and inserts; prevent maintenance.
• Care for tools, follow safety regulations, and report time/production.
• Keep equipment in good order and work area neat.
