Job summary

The role requires attention to quality and safety, with routine visual and dimensional checks and collaboration with Welders to replace missing metal as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines to remove parting lines, fins, snags, gates, and risers from castings.
• Set up equipment and select belts for grinders to meet specs.
• Log on computerized systems, track time, and update inventory and paperwork.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings against tolerance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure parts meet quality standards.
