Job summary

Clair Global is seeking a Grille Assembly Technician to fabricate and assemble protective grille assemblies for Clair Global loudspeakers. This hands-on role involves bonding, finishing, and preparing metal grille components using fabric, foam, adhesives, pigments, and a variety of hand and power tools.

You will produce clean, consistent grille assemblies that meet quality standards, while also supporting speaker cabinet assembly and quality control as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Experience with adhesives, spray equipment, fabric, foam, or finishing processes preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and air/battery-powered tools.
• Detail-oriented with ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal grille components for assembly per work orders.
• Measure, cut acoustic fabric and foam to required dimensions.
• Apply adhesive and pigment mixtures for bonding fabric/foam to metal grille components.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and accessories.
• Attach fabric/foam to grille frames and ensure alignment and finish.
• Inspect grille assemblies for fit, adhesion and workmanship.
• Assist with speaker cabinet assembly when grille production allows.
• Support QC by inspecting metalwork and assemblies against specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper handling of materials.
• Be willing to learn new manufacturing processes and equipment.
