Job summary

PGI, a leading private label automotive components supplier, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our IL manufacturing team. You will perform repetitive assembly operations, load and monitor equipment, and ensure product quality on high-speed lines.

You will also complete production paperwork, scan barcodes with our computer systems, assist with line changeovers, and help maintain a safe, clean work area in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Must perform repetitive assembly operations and monitor equipment.
• Inspects materials and finished product for quality.
• Completes production paperwork and uses computer systems for data entry.
• Participates in line changeovers and transports parts between centers.
• Maintains safety procedures and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive assembly operations by hand and on high-speed equipment.
• Inspect materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products against quality specs.
• Complete production tickets, scrap tickets, and transfer tickets; use computer systems.
• Assist with line changeovers and transport parts between work centers.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures.
