Job summary

The role requires GPS machine control experience, ability to read plans, and a safety-focused mindset. Domestic travel to job sites may be required and a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of heavy equipment operation on civil/site projects.
• Experience with rough and fine grading.
• Hands-on with K-Tec articulated haul scrapers preferred.
• Experience with GPS machine control a plus.
• Ability to read construction plans, grades and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate K-Tec scrapers, dozers, graders, excavators, loaders and compactors.
• Perform rough and fine grading to meet plan elevations and tolerances.
• Read grade stakes, plans and GPS/laser control systems.
• Safely load, haul and place material using earthmoving equipment.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and site-specific requirements.
• Assist with general labor and keep work area clean.
