Job summary

Production Worker position in Vandergrift, PA, onsite for 12+ months. Schedule Mon-Thu, 6am - 4:30pm. Responsibilities include operating automated glass cutting equipment, handling glass, inspecting products, and preparing for shipment.

Requires HS diploma or GED; prior manufacturing experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work collaboratively with supervisors and engineering to address defects and process challenges.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; AAS degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee automated glass cutting equipment to size glass for IGUs and windows.
• Manual glass separation of sheets from mother sheet.
• Load glass carts and stage for sequencing in production.
• Inspect incoming glass and IGUs for defects.
• Operate lift assist to move IGUs up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and Engineering to resolve defects or process issues.
• Build crates to store IGUs and stage parts for shipment.
• Prepare finished product for shipment per packaging instructions.
• Conduct operator maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
