Job summary

Living Spaces is hiring a Final Finisher to join our growing team. In this role you will customize, repair, and finish furniture using stains, paints, and protective coatings, ensuring high quality results.

You will disassemble pieces for finishing and apply top coats with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has up to 1 year of hands-on experience with tools and finishes, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or GED in relevant field or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year year(s) of experience using hand and power tools through formal or job-related training.

Responsibilities

• Customize and repair furniture using solvents and tools.
• Brush, spray, or hand-rub finishes onto wood grain.
• Disassemble items to prepare them for finishing using grinders, sanders, chisels, steel wool, pumice, and sandpaper.
• Apply stains, top coats or varnish, shellac, lacquer, stain and wood sealants.
