Job summary

Enovis Austin, TX is seeking a Furnace Technician to operate and maintain equipment in a medical device manufacturing environment. You will perform profiling, calibration, assembly, and inspection tasks to produce tight tolerance components following blueprints and work instructions.

The role demands attention to detail, lean manufacturing experience, and strong problem-solving to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong quality control skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training
• 4+ years of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using Lean Methodology, supporting Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes hand tools, measuring devices and small machinery for profiling, measuring, calibrating, masking, coating, cleaning, and inspecting product from instructions and drawings.
• Applies abrasive finish to machined/forged components.
• Applies masking tapes and fixturing to forgings and machined components.
• Checks and inspects work with precision instruments.
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
• Completes all required recordkeeping.
• Maintains clean, safe, organized work area.
• Mentors operators and provides input for improvements.
