These activities include, but are not limited to, machine operation and precision assembly skills, to produce tight tolerance components in a medical device manufacturing environment. Work schedules and assigned shift hours may vary based on business needs. **Key Responsibilities:*** Utilizes various hand tools, measuring devices and small machinery for profiling, measuring, calibrating, masking, coating, cleaning, and inspecting product. Works from written work instructions, blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.* Application of abrasive finish to machined and forged components.* Application of masking tapes and fixturing to forgings and machined components.* Checks and inspects work with precision instruments.* Actively participates in continuous improvement efforts.* Promptly and accurately completes all required recordkeeping.* Keeps surrounding area clean, safe, and organized.* Assignments are advanced in difficulty, and require judgment in resolving issues, or in making recommendations with little to no supervision.* Coach and train other operators to standards and provide input for improvement methods and techniques.* Evaluates nonconforming material and associated defects, create NCMR documentation, and propose rework path.* Performs preventative maintenance for and repairs on the furnace; identifies root cause and implements countermeasure controls. **Minimum Basic Qualifications:*** Attention to detail and strong quality control skills.* High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training* 4+ years of working in a manufacturing environment.* Experience using Lean Methodology, supporting Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives. **Desired Characteristics:*** Experience in medical device manufacturing, or an ISO manufacturing environment.* Strong decision-making skills and proven ability to drive root-cause analysis and critical problem solving. *Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
