Quick Hire Staffing in New York seeks a careful Forklift Operator to move solar panels and related materials within our warehouse and shipping areas. You will operate a forklift with precision to support efficient workflow.

Candidates must have a valid forklift certification, be able to perform pre‑shift inspections, read shipping documents, and follow OSHA safety procedures. The role is on site with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate forklifts to move and stage solar panels and related materials.
• Load and unload shipments with care to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report issues.
• Organize inventory and store materials efficiently.
• Assist shipping/receiving and verify quantities.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory records using warehouse docs and scans.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet deadlines.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.

Responsabilités

• Move solar panels and materials with a forklift as part of daily warehouse operations.
• Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and staging per dispatch notes.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report any equipment issues.
• Keep inventory organized and properly labeled for quick retrieval.
• Support shipping/receiving by verifying quantities and quality.
