Job summary

Quick Hire Staffing is seeking a careful Forklift Operator to move packages and solar panel materials within our warehouses and shipping areas. You will operate a forklift to load, unload, and stage items, ensuring efficiency and safety in daily operations.

Responsibilities include performing pre-shift inspections, organizing inventory, assisting with shipping/receiving, and adhering to OSHA safety procedures. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification.
• Operate forklifts to safely move, load, unload, and stage solar panels and related materials within the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Read pick tickets, shipping documents, or inventory labels.
• Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems to assist inventory control.
• Stack and store materials accurately in designated locations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Organize inventory and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain efficient workflow.
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations by verifying quantities and inspecting products for accuracy and quality.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse documentation and scanning systems.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines and production schedules.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
