Job summary

Thistle Health seeks a Production Associate at our Vacaville facility to meticulously plate and pack ready-to-eat meals, ensuring quality checks and accurate packaging before delivery to customers. The role demands attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment.

With at least 2 years in manufacturing (food preferred), you will support production throughput, maintain documentation, and uphold Thistle's standards for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, pref. food manufacturing.
• Ability to work weekends and early mornings.
• Punctuality, attendance, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.
• Experience with process control documentation (meal weights, label verification, portions).
• Must obtain state-designated Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Plating a variety of ready-to-eat meals meeting presentation and quality standards.
• Accurate packing of meals and products into customer bags or boxes.
• Perform thorough quality checks before items leave the facility.
• Work swiftly to meet production schedules and ensure timely packaging.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain a cohesive workflow.
