Qualifications

• Job training for this position is provided.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
• Studies work orders, and other specifications to ensure proper setup sequence.
• Selects, places, and secures tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Observes each task to verify quality performance.
• Verifies measuring instruments are in proper working order.
• Sets and adjusts controls to regulate machines.
• Cleans equipment and maintains a clean manufacturing area.
• Follows directions to operate machinery and handle materials.
• May be trained to act as forklift operator or other equipment handler.
• Reports issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Adheres to company and location policies and safety rules.
• May require extended hours.
