Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing in North Wales, PA, is seeking a Finishing and Blasting Operator to deburr, polish, blast, and inspect metal components. You will operate programmed machines or manual processes, maintain quality, follow safety procedures, and support timely production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator.
• Basic math skills, including fundamental geometry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines as programmed or perform manual processes with limited direct supervision.
• Communicate any malfunctions or quality issues immediately to a supervisor.
• Deburr, polish, and blast parts to prepare them for coating.
• Operate blasting equipment as required.
• Inspect parts for visual defects and anomalies.
• Apply knowledge of standard Mil-Spec dimensions commonly used on firearms components.
• Work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
• Meet production and quality goals within department timelines.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
