Qualifications

• Familiarity with agricultural pesticides and weed identification.
• Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and calibrating equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail in workmanship and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and apply fertilizers and pesticides using specialized equipment.
• Maintain log books detailing application activities and acres treated.
• Calibrate and maintain application equipment for optimal performance.
• Follow up on weed control in sprayed areas.
• Wear PPE; promote safety and comply with regulations.
• Pursue continuing education for pesticide applicator licenses.
• Handle soil sampling, fertilizer mixing, equipment maintenance, and transport of chemicals.
