Job summary

Hog Slat, Inc. is seeking an assembler at our Clinton, NC manufacturing location to join a team that builds parts and equipment for the swine and poultry industries.

The role requires precise measuring, reading blueprints, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily while following safety procedures. You will use drill presses, pneumatic tools, and riveting machines to assemble components and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Operates drill presses, pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations
• Adhere to all safety procedures
