Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 3–6 months of fabrication work experience desired.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures, operating and maintenance instructions or manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 1,000 pounds with a pallet jack in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for assembly through stamping, riveting, and sanding.
• Interpret and follow instructions outlined in job packets.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Push and pull crates weighing up to 1,000 pounds using a manual pallet jack.
• Prioritize work orders based on production schedules and deadlines.
• Read and accurately interpret gauges and measurement tools.
• Be open to cross training across departments on the plant floor.
