Job summary

Charter Manufacturing in Wisconsin seeks a Precision Fabricator to build, modify, and repair vibratory feeder bowls and related tooling using advanced fabrication, welding, and machining to meet exact specs.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Production, and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and efficiency, with opportunities in TIG/MIG welding and CNC machining.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in fabrication, machining, tooling, or related fields.
• Experience with TIG welding, stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• HS diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent skilled trades experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, and repair vibratory feeder bowls, tracks, escapements, and tooling.
• Build stainless steel and carbon steel assemblies from engineering drawings and specs.
• Perform precision TIG, MIG, and other welding processes as required.
• Fit, grind, polish, and finish fabricated components to spec.
• Assemble and test mechanical feeding systems and automation components.
• Operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Interpret GD&T and technical specifications.
