Job summary

Industrial Magnetics in Michigan is seeking a fabrication technician to produce permanent and electro magnetic devices per established prints. You will operate a range of fabrication equipment and assemble products to exact specifications.

You will coordinate with team leads, sign-off on quality checks, cross-train, and assist with inventory and forklift operations as needed. Experience with plate rolls, laser, and brakes is a plus; safety and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating metal fabrication machinery and reading prints.
• Ability to perform quality checks and follow work instructions.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform additional tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program laser, shear, press brake, plate roll, metal saw, and similar equipment.
• Assemble products per work instructions and prints.
• Coordinate work with the team lead and maintain schedule.
• Sign-off on quality checks by the operator.
• Cross-train to perform other job functions when needed.
• Operate forklift to unload steel and help organize inventory.
