Zurn Elkay Water Solutions is seeking a Fabrication Technician in Texas to produce, assemble, and finish components according to drawings and specs. You will support manufacturing by maintaining equipment and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Your role involves reading blueprints, setting up fabrication tools, measuring and cutting materials, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprint, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment (e.g., saws, presses, CNC machines, welding equipment, or cutting tools).
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to precise specifications.
• Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing tasks as required.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment; report or escalate issues.
• Maintain sound safety practices and follow all safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication or design issues.
