ANDRITZ is seeking an experienced welder/fitter to lay out, fit, and weld metal components per blueprints. You will operate fabrication equipment, perform inspections, and handle material cut processes with oxy-fuel and plasma cutting.

The role requires at least 3 years in welding and fabrication, and a high school diploma. Candidate will be placed on a swing shift at the WP Ruston facility with a shift differential possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding, metal fabrication, and fitting experience.
• Production/manufacturing experience in sheet metal fabrication environment.

Responsabilités

• Fit and fabricate metal components using blueprints and welds.
• Tack weld or weld components using GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes.
• Perform first order inspection for accuracy and dimensions.
• Operate fabrication tools and cranes safely.
• Promote and comply with company safety rules and shop procedures.
