Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Shop Lead for our Ruston, LA facility. The role directs workers, prioritizes tasks, and ensures on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will train staff on fabrication tooling and coordinate with the Fabrication/Production Manager to keep schedules aligned with production goals. Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years in fabrication or manufacturing, strong math and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication, production, or assembly.
• Strong math skills to calculate material requirements and tolerances.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to manage reports and schedules.
• Experience in steel manufacturing and leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct workers to proper priorities to manage workflow.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Train employees to operate fabrication tooling and equipment.
• Update Fabrication/Production Manager on production and scheduling issues.
• Maintain schedule with priorities and address special needs; coordinate with quality control.
