Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is seeking a Repair Associate in Maiden, NC to handle fabric repairs caused by flaws or errors, cutting replacement pieces as needed. You will coordinate with Central Fabric to source materials and ensure timely delivery of repaired parts.

Responsibilities include marking and cutting parts by hand, or using automated cutting equipment when necessary, and locating missing components to complete items. Some non-routine tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sewing experience preferred.
• Ability to hand mark and cut parts for repair.

Responsibilities

• Write up repairs due to fabric flaws or human error requiring extra fabric.
• Take Repair Form to Central Fabric for fabric sourcing.
• Hand mark and cut repair parts while inspecting fabric and aligning center points.
• If unable to hand cut, cut fabric on automated cutting machine.
• Assist locating missing parts to complete the item (e.g., arm caps, pillows, bases).
• Ensure repairs are returned from fabric area promptly and delivered to the operator.
• Maintain copy of Repair Form; check with customer service about 'no-fabric' orders within two weeks.
• May perform other duties/special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
