Mood Fabrics is seeking a detail-oriented Production Cutter to join the Showroom Operations team in Lodi, NJ. You will cut fabric accurately for showroom headers, ensuring correct SKU and color, and prepare pieces for the next production stage.

The role requires precision, comfort with textiles, and computer-assisted data entry. Strong color vision and the ability to work on-site are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in production, textiles, or related hands-on environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent color vision; must not be color blind.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Ability to read and follow detailed production instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive cutting and measuring tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move fabric rolls and materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Header Cutting: accurately measure and cut fabric to specifications.
• Fabric Identification: identify fabrics by SKU, color, material and other characteristics.
• Quality Control: inspect fabric before and after cutting for flaws or errors.
• Production Accuracy: maintain consistent measurements across batches.
• SKU & Data Accuracy: verify product information in internal systems.
• Organization: keep cutting materials and work areas organized.
• Production Workflow: maintain efficient flow from inventory to completed header production.
• Issue Escalation: communicate discrepancies to Showroom Coordinator.
