Mood Fabrics in Lodi, NJ is seeking a Production Cutter for showroom headers. This on-site role requires precise cutting of fabrics, SKU/color matching, and data entry into internal systems. You will work closely with the Showroom Coordinator to maintain production flow and ensure quality across batches.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with textiles, and able to use computers and inventory software. Ability to lift fabrics and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in production, textiles, or hands-on work is a plus.
• Excellent color vision and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Able to read and follow detailed production instructions.
• Able to perform repetitive cutting and measuring tasks.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to communicate clearly in English.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Able to lift and move fabric rolls and materials.

Responsibilities

• Header Cutting: accurately measure and cut fabric to specifications.
• Fabric Identification: match SKU, color, and material for each batch.
• Quality Control: inspect fabric before/after cutting and flag issues.
• Production Accuracy: keep measurements consistent across batches.
• SKU & Data Accuracy: verify information in systems and records.
• Organization: maintain tidy cutting area and batches.
• Production Workflow: coordinate with Showroom Coordinator for flow.
• Issue Escalation: report discrepancies promptly.
