Matrix Service in Oklahoma is seeking a skilled manufacturing operator to set up and operate various metalworking machines, reading drawings and inspecting workpieces for accuracy.

You will follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets while complying with company values and quality standards. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and flexibility to work overtime or night shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Legible Printing/Handwriting; ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Positions workpiece: sets, stops, guides piece according to specifications.
• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measures workpiece dimension to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take necessary corrective action to minimize hazards.
• Cleans up material and debris after completing each job.
• Works well with peers and supervision.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required in this role.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.
