Job summary

Amerequip is seeking an experienced operator to set up and run press brakes and roll forming lines in Kiel, Wisconsin. After training, you will load and secure sheet metal, adjust tools, and apply offsets to keep parts within spec.

You will read blueprints, measure parts with calipers and height gauges, document in-process inspections, and participate in safety and process improvements at Amerequip.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate press brakes and roll forming machines after the training period.
• Read and interpret blueprints, flat patterns, and bend diagrams.
• Verify part accuracy using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brakes and roll forming machines after training.
• Load and secure sheet metal, tooling, and fixtures into machines.
• Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and program offsets as needed.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting forming issues and suggest corrective actions.
• Perform daily machine checks, including hydraulic levels and lubrication.
• Follow all operational procedures accurately and consistently.
• Participate in training to improve forming skills and technical knowledge.
• Suggest and support process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
