Job summary

Novolex is hiring an Operator Associate (Extrusion - B Shift) in Corsicana, TX. The role involves operating extrusion machines, performing routine maintenance, monitoring quality, and ensuring run efficiencies.

Starting pay ranges from $20.27 to $22.63 per hour, with shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Ideal candidates will have machine operation or maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Machine operator experience or equivalent maintenance/ mechanical experience.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and basic math proficiency.
• Ability to use required tools and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines at the required rate.
• Start and stop machines as needed.
• Perform maintenance tasks including changing hoses, valves, molds, and machine parts.
• Monitor machinery and bagging equipment for quality and efficiency.
• Diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical problems and adjust to maintain run rates.
• Make line adjustments to maintain/improve product quality.
• Maintain run efficiencies and perform quality checks.
• Complete operator reports and quality checks as required.
• Communicate production information to supervisor and assist other operators.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain area housekeeping.
