Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking an Industrial Painter to join the assembly operations team in Waukesha, WI. You will prepare engines for shipment by painting all types and parts, masking areas, and detailing raised lettering.

You will also manage maintenance on paint tools and systems to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. The role requires a High school diploma or equivalent spray paint experience, plus knowledge of paint guns and measurement tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and/or relevant professional spray paint experience.
  • Knowledge of required tools & equipment, such as the operation of paint guns and ability to calibrate gauges and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Paint all engine types and parts per engineering specifications to prepare for customer shipment.
  • Complete required paint inspection reports and document non-conformities to support root cause analysis.
  • Perform basic assembly related repairs when non-conformances are found during final inspection review.
  • Operate start-up and shutdown processes of the paint wash booths and ensure proper temperatures and safety resets.
  • Control paint gun during paint process, clean and adjust gun fluid as required.
  • Track inventory of gun parts, consumables and other materials.
  • Manage the 2KS system to correctly introduce paint across lines and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Follow work instructions to identify parts of the engine to be masked before paint.
  • Detail engines by hand painting raised lettering and applying grease to exposed parts.
  • Ensure proper function of the paint kitchen by monitoring motor pressures and inventory levels of paints, solvents & catalyst.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all paint and wash systems.
