Job summary

INNIO is seeking an Industrial Painter in Waukesha, WI to support engine production by painting engines and parts per engineering specs, and documenting any non-conformities for root-cause analysis.

You will operate paint wash booths, control gun performance, manage paint inventory, and perform routine preventative maintenance on paint systems while keeping safety standards. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with spray painting and paint gun operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and spray paint experience.
• Ability to operate paint guns and calibrate gauges/measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint all engine types and parts per engineering specifications for shipment.
• Complete paint inspection reports and document non-conformities for root cause analysis.
• Perform basic assembly repairs when non-conformances are found during final inspection.
• Operate paint wash booths start-up/shutdown and maintain proper temperatures and safety resets.
• Control paint gun during process, clean properly and adjust gun fluid.
• Track inventory of gun parts and consumables.
• Manage the 2KS system to introduce paint and troubleshoot as needed.
• Mask engine parts before painting following work instructions.
• Detail engines by hand painting raised lettering and touch-ups; apply grease where needed.
• Maintain paint kitchen function and inventory of paints, solvents, and catalyst.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on paint and wash systems.
