LKQ Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented Engine Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on reading instructions, using precision tools, and following established procedures to assemble engine components with care and accuracy.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain quality records, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ability to read instructions, service manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient with precision tools and torque equipment.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and quality control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions and procedures.
• Collect materials and tools needed to complete procedures.
• Use precision tools to measure and assist in the assembly of the engine using both power and manual tools.
• Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
• Ensure that all engine fasteners are tightened and torque to the correct value.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.
• Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.
• Maintain a “Tour Ready” work environment.
