Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Team Member Assembly to assemble or install engine components and assemblies at our Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, IL. The role reports to the Team Lead and requires balancing quality workmanship with production schedules, following Lean practices to meet manufacturing goals.

Shift is 1st, 5:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday. The position offers hourly pay of $21.00 plus overtime, and is located at our Wood Dale headquarters in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read diagrams/manuals and apply math in tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive assembly or high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or install engine components and subassemblies using hand tools and electronic tooling per drawings and work instructions.
• Verify product quality with quality checklists and report defects.
• Measure critical dimensions with micrometers/calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed and participate in team lifts for heavier items.
• Follow safety procedures and operate tools and machines per instructions.
