Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring an Electronics Quality Control Inspector to ensure high-reliability electronic assemblies meet exacting standards. You’ll inspect PCBs under high-magnification microscopes, identify defects, and verify reworks before shipment.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001 expertise (Active certification or formal training required).
• Microscope mastery with proven experience inspecting fine-pitch SMT and through-hole assemblies.
• Eagle-eye defect detection (bridging, misalignments, cold solder joints—IPC-A-610 knowledge is a huge plus).
• Digital literacy to log NCRs and pass/fail data seamlessly in our system.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on, high-magnification visual inspection of fine-pitch electronic components, surface-mount technology (SMT), and through-hole assemblies under a microscope or stereo magnifier.
• Inspect printed circuit boards (PCBA) for soldering defects, component misalignments, bridging, solder balls, insufficient solder, cracked joints, and incorrect polarity.
• Identify and segregate defective parts, non-conforming materials, and damaged components on circuit boards prior to final assembly or shipment.
• Verify board rework, touch-ups, and repairs to ensure they meet visual and structural acceptance criteria.
