Job summary

Lancesoft in West Henrietta, NY is seeking an on-site Assembler for a 3+ month contract. You will perform electronic and mechanical assembly, precision soldering, and sub-assembly troubleshooting following detailed work instructions.

Requirements: HS diploma or GED, 3+ years electronics assembly with PCB soldering (IPC‑610/J‑Standard 001 preferred), ability to read directions, ERP experience, and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years electronics assembly experience or equivalent with soldering experience on printed circuit boards.
• Ability to solder/de-solder/rework assemblies/SMT IPC-610 & JStandard 001 (preferred)
• Ability to read and follow directions with heavy attention to detail
• Able to use ERP system to complete tasks as required
• Able to read color coded Process Details
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Programs

Responsibilities

• Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools, along with electrical and mechanical fixtures and gauges, to perform precision assembly tasks
• Operate standard measuring and test equipment such as dial indicators, micrometers, and voltmeters
• Work with drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials to support production activities
• Perform precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components as required
• Inspect and test your own work to ensure it meets established specifications and quality standards
• Verify and review the work of others for accuracy and compliance
• Perform a variety of mechanical, optical, and electrical/electronic operations
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety protocols, and production procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
