Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United States is seeking an Assembler - Electronic II to assemble, solder, test and inspect electronic and mechanical components, interpreting technical documentation and procedures to ensure quality products.

You will mount and solder components, read blueprints and schematics, fabricate wire harnesses, perform in-process inspections, and follow safety and manufacturing standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of electronic or electromechanical assembly experience
• Experience performing soldering and wire crimping activities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics
• Knowledge of electronic components and their applications
• Experience fabricating and terminating wire cable harnesses
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment while meeting production requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform component assembly of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, chassis wiring assemblies, and mechanical assemblies
• Mount and solder electronic components, wiring harnesses, connectors, and mechanical assemblies according to specifications
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality and performance standards
• Perform high- and low-temperature soldering activities while adhering to manufacturing requirements
• Utilize hand tools and assembly equipment to complete production tasks safely and efficiently
• Identify and read values of common electronic components to support accurate assembly
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics
• Apply advanced soldering and wire crimping techniques to support product reliability
• Fabricate, routing, and terminating wire cable harnesses according to engineering requirements
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures to support manufacturing excellence
