Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment. You will read technical documents, use precision tools, and work across multiple stations to meet tight tolerances and specifications.

Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, assembling units with hand and power tools, and conducting product testing to identify defects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling complex assemblies and subassemblies.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
• Experience using precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Experience troubleshooting fit/tolerance issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with robotics and fixed automation equipment in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and process instructions to assemble complex assemblies.
• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical parts using hand and power tools.
• Position, align, fasten, and adjust components to spec.
• Connect cables, tubing, and wiring per specifications.
• Inspect, test, and adjust units to verify tolerances are met.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and verniers to confirm dimensions.
