Job summary

Maztech Industries is seeking an Electro-Optical Assembly Technician to support assembly, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting of high-precision electro-optical systems. You will work with engineering and production teams to build optical, mechanical, and electronic subassemblies per drawings and procedures in a controlled cleanroom environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electro-optical or related assembly, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electro-optical, precision mechanical, optical, electronics, or related assembly experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and precision measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small, delicate components.
• Documentation of work following detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test laser, optical, mechanical, and electro-optical components and subassemblies.
• Perform assembly in a cleanroom environment.
• Follow engineering drawings and written procedures.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly, bonding, soldering, wiring, and component installation.
• Align, integrate, inspect, and test optical and laser components.
• Use hand tools, microscopes, and precision equipment; record results in documentation.
• Identify issues and work with engineering/quality to resolve them.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work area per policies.
