Job summary

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes RF and microwave products. This Level 2 Electro-Mechanical Inspector role focuses on electrical and mechanical inspection of manufacturing materials, reading drawings, and performing tests with precision measuring tools.

You will document results, identify defects, and communicate issues to the team lead while adhering to company procedures and quality standards. This position requires English proficiency and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • 1–2 years of related experience, familiar with electro‑mechanical inspection.
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
  • Ability to use basic measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, multimeters, microscopes.
  • Ability to read mechanical and assembly drawings.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Color vision ability (Ishihara test).
  • Comply with General Incoming Inspection procedures (D2-HT00-63).
  • New Member Verification Form for Incoming Inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Read assembly and mechanical drawings to determine requirements.
  • Inspect items using a vision system, calipers, micrometers, force gauges, LCR meter, and multimeter.
  • Inspect PC boards, switches, cores, connectors, resistors, capacitors, enclosures and packaging materials as per drawings.
  • Some visual inspection using microscope and magnifying lamp may be required.
  • Perform tests such as resistance to solvents, DC continuity, and material composition using XRF.
  • Document inspection results in the computer.
  • Identify potential problems and notify the team leader.
  • Follow all company procedures.
