Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Mocksville, NC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly for rotary air compressor systems and custom control panels.

You will read drawings and BOMs, install components, perform wiring for 12V/24V circuits, test equipment, and uphold quality, safety, and EHS standards in a fast-paced environment. If you have 1 year of industrial assembly experience, this full-time on-site role offers a 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial equipment assembly, preferably compressors, HVAC, pumps, or electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical prints, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; follow standard work instructions.
• Proficient with torque tools, hoists, pneumatic tools, crimping equipment, and test instruments (multimeters, megohmmeters).

Responsibilities

• Assemble rotary screw compressor packages and related sub-assemblies.
• Perform wiring, testing and verification of control panels.
• Inspect and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and EHS standards.
• Document inspections and nonconformances per quality system.
