Job summary

Radiant Digital seeks an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician in Houston to assemble instrument components, electro-mechanical and hydraulic assemblies, and electronic circuits. You will read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents, and perform soldering, mounting, alignment, and testing with minimal supervision.

Requirements include several years of related assembly experience and coursework in Electrical/Electronics; a strong eye for detail and safe tool handling are essential

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant assembly experience preferred.
• Some college education or coursework focused on Electrical/Electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic components and sub-assemblies.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Perform light/high- or low-temperature soldering as required.
• Solder circuit boards and terminate wires correctly.
• Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and operational testing of components.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and simple mechanical troubleshooting.
• Identify and repair assembly issues when required.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain high accuracy, dexterity, and attention to detail.
