Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a semi-skilled assembler to perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under supervision. The role involves following detailed instructions, using hand and basic power tools, and performing in-process testing to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, assembling components, wiring, soldering, and recording production data while maintaining safety and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Must follow drawings, schematics, and work instructions with accuracy.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and basic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follows production drawings, sample assemblies, work instructions, and verbal instructions.
• Interprets schematics and BOMs to identify parts and sequence assemblies.
• Uses voltmeters and other basic test equipment to verify assemblies meet specs.
• Connects wires to PCBs and routes wires between components and connectors.
• Performs assembly operations including crimps, screws, rivets, soldering, bonding, and bonding where required.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and records production data accurately.
• Performs in-process inspections and identifies defects for rework.
