Job summary

Ilocatum is hiring an Electrical Panel Assembly Technician for a full-time role in manufacturing. You will build and wire electrical control panels from schematics and blueprints, then inspect for accuracy and quality.

Candidates should have hands-on assembly experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a careful focus on safety. You will lay out and mount components, route and terminate wires, and verify panel integrity through inspection and testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical panel building and wiring.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for electrical assembly.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and mount switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and terminal blocks in panels and enclosures.
• Route, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires according to schematics and diagrams.
• Measure, drill, tap, and cut enclosures and back panels for component installation.
• Inspect finished panels for wiring accuracy, component placement, and structural integrity before testing.
• Apply wire markers, component tags, and terminal labels according to documentation.
• Keep the work area organized and follow site safety and PPE requirements.
