Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician in Trussville, AL to build and wire control panels and sub-assemblies on a full-time on-site manufacturing line. The role emphasizes heavy gauge wiring, quality inspection, and adherence to safety standards.

You will read schematics and blueprints, operate basic machines and hand tools, and contribute to efficient production with overtime as needed. This onsite position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Experience with heavy assembly on a manufacturing floor.
• Hands-on wiring of control panels, including heavy gauge wire.
• Electrical assembly involving components and associated machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and documentation.
• Proficient with hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers).
• Operate basic machines and material handling equipment safely.
• Fabrication tasks such as cutting/grinding metal as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble control panels using heavy gauge wire and lugs with secure connections.
• Build and assemble electrical and mechanical components per schematics/blueprints.
• Mount sub-assemblies into larger units for testing/shipment.
• Inspect finished products to meet quality standards.
• Assist with production tasks to maintain workflow and daily output.
• Load/unload items, and operate lifting equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and background/drug testing requirements.
